Road design wins top honors
The Santa Clarita Valley Facilities Foundation received top honors for its role in designing the first phase of Golden Valley Road and the future Golden Valley High School.

    R.T. Frankian & Associates, a member of the California Geotechnical Engineers Association, performed the geotechnical work on the site and received the association’s 2001 Outstanding Project of the Year, and in turn presented it to the foundation.

Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Tentatively Approves Newhall Ranch Project

Frankian & Associates, a geotechnical engineering and engineering geology firm in Burbank, was recently awarded the construction inspection contract on the $85 million, 700,000-square-foot campus-style office development by PacTen Partners for the Valencia Corporate Point project. This is PacTen’s newest business park, and it is located at Interstate 5 and Highway 126. PacTen is currently building the 24-story Glendale Plaza.
